Cannot change 24" Apple Cinema Display brightness after 7.0.14

Hi,

After upgrading yesterday from 7.0.10.arch1-1 -> 7.0.14.arch1-1, my (old) Apple Cinema display no longer shows up under /dev/usb/. Since Apple used their own protocol, I normally point `acdcontrol` at the Apple display in /dev/usb/hiddev1.

I'm asking here because I don't know where to go next in troubleshooting. I see that both kernel versions add 0003:05AC:9236.0009 (hid), but only 7.0.10 adds usbmisc/hiddev1 (usbmisc).

Thanks in advance for any help or pointers in the right direction.

7.0.14 lacks the "Manufacturer" line??
There's probably some error around it?

Compare the system journals where you get to see kernel and udev interleaved.
