xinetd and bind

Hey,

After installing (and configuring) vsftpd and xinetd, I am having trouble to connect to my ftp:

When trying to connect to the ftp I get:

421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection

And after issuing xinetd -d I get:

07/4/10@11:20:29: ERROR: 4839 {activate_normal} bind failed (Address already in use (errno = 98)). service = ftp
07/4/10@11:20:29: ERROR: 4839 {cnf_start_services} Service ftp failed to start and is deactivated.

Any suggestions on that?
The vsftpd in xinetd.d is configured OK.

Don't know about xinetd , but since some time I get this error (bind failed)
when I try to do ssh forwarding. Maybe that's related.
