[solved] modinfo: command not found in initcpio

While upgrading the kernel, I got a lot of these:

/lib/initcpio/functions: line 138: modinfo: command not found

That doesn't seem right, and I really need my laptop to boot again without any hacking tomorrow morning. Downgrading to the previous kernel has the same result sad .

I'll leave it running for now, I'll check back hoping for an answer soon.

Re: [solved] modinfo: command not found in initcpio

the forum search function didn't find me this the first time around, unfortunately that doesn't solve the issue.

I reinstalled module-init-tools, did pacman -S kernel26 (twice, even), no change.

Never mind, got it here

export PATH=$PATH:/sbin
pacman -S kernel26
