On bootup (and when I type 'etc/rc.d/mysqld start' in console) mysql fails to start. Here is /var/lib/mysql/hostname.err:
070623 18:17:12 mysqld started
/usr/sbin/mysqld: Can't create/write to file '/tmp/ibzXNk0d' (Errcode: 13)
070623 18:17:12 InnoDB: Error: unable to create temporary file; errno: 13
070623 18:17:12 [ERROR] Can't start server : Bind on unix socket: Permission denied
070623 18:17:12 [ERROR] Do you already have another mysqld server running on socket: /tmp/mysql.sock ?
070623 18:17:12 [ERROR] Aborting
070623 18:17:12 [Note] /usr/sbin/mysqld: Shutdown complete
070623 18:17:12 mysqld ended
I'm stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Oddly enough, this problem went away after uninstalling kde and installing kdemod. Thanks anyways.
