Which python packages are missing in Arch? Have you searched the AUR as well as the official repos?

You don't need that driver to make a connection.
Most settings the card needs are setup when you use it the first time in windows.
I've setup Kppp to use my vodafone novatel merlin U630 for more than a year now on 2 laptops, both running arch.
see here : http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=20350
This link http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=21726 is to a thread on a south-african forum where you can find lots of info about getting vodafone mobile connect cards to work on linux.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

HI there.. I need this package (or something similar, let me know) to manage my 3G connection with my Asus eeepc 901go netbook.. I installed this package from AUR but i get (finally, after the osname chage tip) the following error:
vmc.contrib.axiom.errors.SQLError: <SQLError: 'CREATE TABLE main.axiom_attributes ( type_id INTEGER, row_offset INTEGER, indexed BOOLEAN, sqltype VARCHAR, allow_none BOOLEAN, pythontype VARCHAR, attribute VARCHAR, docstring TEXT )'(()) caused <class 'sqlite3.OperationalError'>: near "indexed": syntax error>
Anyone can suggest something?

Ok.. I think that installing a "orphan" package from aur will not help..
I tried to install the latest snapshot from the vodafone-mccd site, and run the .run latest snapshot
Something strange happen with my python interpreter, it hangs up wwith this error:
ImportError: /opt/vmc/lib/python/site-packages/gtk-2.0/gobject/_gobject.so: undefined symbol: PyUnicodeUCS4_FromObject
what can I do?

I think that this apps in compiled with a system with a ucs4 unicode support, while archlinux python interpreter has ucs2 suport only.... So i can't execute this app!
