Edit .clp file?

Can a .clp file be edited?  .clp is a " cloop" fs file.

How is it done in arch? Re-name?

if you have permission, you can edit everything :-)

hmm ... we need the cloop thingy from knoppix.net i think - but i'm not sure (if it's a compressed loopdevice image)

but .clp is also the windows clipboard files, so it depend on where the file is from  ... try file yourfile.clp to see what file guesses it is

It is the cloop thingy from Knoppix!

I want to change two lines in a kernel without going through the whole shebang of generating a LIVECD and then find out it doesn't work anyhow!

as far as i know, you must have cloop installed on your system to mount cls-files, and then it is not that easy to make manipulations to have a working livecd

maybe rasat has any tipps, as he made Amlug... or you ask Knopper himself
