i try to connect to our wireless network 'eduroam' in school .. but without success
i need to run wpa_supplicant .. so i run it with "wpa_supplicant -B -i eth1 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -D wext" .. then i try to run dhclient to get ip from access point .. but i get this:

with kismet i can also see al that networks

windows users must install SecureW2 Client
how can i solve that problem

i only try wext drivers .. maybe with bcm43xx or ndiswrapper it'll work? .. i'll try that tomorrow and let you know.

Hi, I accidentally bumped into this post when I was searching for something else. Anyway, if you still can't connect, add ca_cert field to /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf or whatever config file you specify when you run wpa_supplicant.

...
ca_cert="/etc/ssl/certs/cacert.der"
...
}I downloaded cacert.der from my faculty (FE, uni-lj) webpage. It works for me, so it should for you too unless you have some hw problems. Oh, and don't test at CTK, go to a faculty or IJS.
