EDIT: Actually, I figured out that it's actually Realtek 8187 chipset wireless. I have another problem now, though. I installed the recommended Windows driver, but when I do 'iwlist wlan0 scan', it only shows the same two networks out of the six or so around my house. The big problem is that none of the two are mine.
ORIGINAL: Hey, I was installing Arch on a Gateway MT6705 and have almost everything set up. However, for some reason, my wireless chip/card isn't being detected. It uses bcmwl6 drivers which I got off of Gateway's site, if that helps, and I've install them using ndiswrapper. However, when I do a ndiswrapper -l, the card doesn't appear. It doesn't show up in iwconfig either. Could anyone help?

It's been a long time since I last tried configuring wifi card on Linux. I do remember that 'dmesg' will tell you some more information when the device is inserted.

Never used iwlist myself. Silly question purhaps: did you turn on the broadcast ID option for the router?
