Problems with RT61 and kernel 2.6.22

My router is configured for static DHCP, that is, it gives the IP address depending on the MAC address.
I need to do this because the router is configured also for the port forwarding on given IP.

But since I have upgraded the kernel from 2.6.21 to 2.6.22, the router isn't able to give me the IP wanted.
Apparently there is some problem with the transmission of the MAC address, but it's only a guess.

Obviously I verified the configuration of the router, but there was nothing to do.

I use the rt61-cvs driver, upgraded almost daily by hand tongue

I hope you can help me! smile

I'm assuming it isn't a problem with your driver since you upgraded the kernel?  I use ndiswrapper with the rt61 driver on my Edimax pcmcia wireless card as its the only one I could get working.

If you enable unstable you can use the rt2x00-cvs and it has rt61pci module in it....
It sometimes gives me problems but it mostly works alright
