I've just been told about iplist (http://iplist.sourceforge.net/) and it looks like it could be nice. It apparently is able to preserve your current iptable ruleset, which means that it can work with things like Firehol and other iptables frontends.
I know that the Arch way tends to discourage frontends, but they really help with complex rulesets.
So, this is my question: How does it look to you? Should I try it, or should I stick with MoBlock?

Isn't that really up to you in the end? If you find it useful then make a build of it and put it up on AUR or ask someone to do it for you

Oh, you must have misunderstood my intent. I was asking if anyone has tried it and what they thought of it.
Making a PKGBUILD is no big deal. If I end up trying it, I'll post the file in the makepkg forum.
