8)I think so, community interaction is a very welcome quality a Lead Developer should have. The best hopes for you again man, I'm willing to see how much this takes an impact on Arch Linux 's future goals now.
Absolutely. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't lurk here because I don't want to... I just have precious little free time, and I like to spend that away from the computer.

First of all, big thanks to Judd for starting ArchLinux. It is really the best binary rolling release distribution out there.

Whow there man, my computer feels offended.

Although I dabbled with various Linux distros as a "user", it is solely because of Arch Linux that I have read books like Running Linux and the Linux Administration Handbook cover-to-cover and *still* I thirst for more. I don't see myself using any other distribution... ever. Thanks for making it all possible, Judd and congratulations to you, Phrakture, I hope you know what you're getting into.

Great men know when to step down
Thanks for the best OS available to man Judd!
Aaron has prctically been the leader of the project for quite some time now, so no surprises there. Plus he's very young. Hopefully he will lead Arch for many years, with the valuable help of the community. Congrats

A very, very, very big thank you to Judd - you created something very unique - you are great! I love Arch, to me there's no other distro as good as that!
And a big thank you as well to phrakture for being willing to take on such a huge responsibility and amount of work to keep on with this great piece of software, project and community!

Thanks for everything, Judd. I'm no linux guru, but the distro you and the others put together just makes sense to me, and that goes a long way when you're learning. Good luck, Phrakture, dealing with the cat herding that'll go along with the job. ;-)

Judd, Arch Linux is a fantastic distribution that encourages and encompasses all of the things I love about Linux. Best of luck, and thanks for all the work in bringing it all together.
I'm sure phrakture will do a great job.

I remember the time when I was just beginning to get serious about using GNU/Linux and was hesitant to try Arch because of the whole "not for newbies" thing. When I did, Arch was the distro that finally clicked with me after trying a whole bunch of others, and I think I'll stick with it for quite a while to come. So thanks for all the work you've put in creating this. And I have no doubt in my mind that the new "leader" will be a worthy successor.

Thanks Judd! Since going through sooo many distro's Arch has been my home base. I'm even getting it on one of our boxes at the comp. shop I work at. It's the only linux box in a sea of windows but hey, one box at a time.
Sincerely thank you!
Congrats Phrakture! ......grab the wheel;)

Arch is truly the perfect distro for me. Thanks for the hard work and great vision Judd.
Phrakture, when I said that you've been downgraded to a retarded monkey in the "hacked?" thread, err... you know that I was, ahhh..., kidding... right?

lol! All of a sudden I don't know if I trust phrak in this role. He gets hacked so often... he'll probably get archlinux.org hacked, then upload hacked packages, and get us all hacked, so we can all open our own "Hacked?" thread. >_> <_<

Thank you Judd for all the time and work you've spent on Arch. Of all the distros I've tried Arch is by far the most friendly in terms of usage and community.
Also thank you for the funniest ebay listing for leather pants I have ever read.

Apeiro,
Thank you for creating the linux distribution that, out of all the ones I tried in the last 6 years or so, finally stuck. I wish you all the luck with your future endeavours.
I'd like to make a suggestion for the next Arch release name, which I find particularly fitting: "boundless".

Hey Phrakture just a thought, wouldn't it be nice if you release some kind of roadmap, to tell us your future plans for Arch Linux, so that we the community keep motivated and looking foward to upcoming things/changes in the near future? For me that will be more of an organized starting for this all, but is just a suggestion only. --Thanks in advance.
