Everytime I shutdown my computer the network fails with the following message:
Stopping Network [fail]
SIOCDELRT - No such processIt's not that important really. Anyway, I thought I'd mention it before the wireless scripts get merged with the official initscripts.

Hmm, was looking for this message but could not find much about it.
My laptop: Dell Inspiron 9400 with IPW3945 wireless card.
For the driver I have installed with pacman -S ipw3945
Using network-profiles and WPA2.
Is working fine, but when I do /etc/rc.d/network restart I get the message
SIOCDELRT: No such process
and a little later
SIOCADDRT: File exists
When shutting down the laptop, I get a fail on shutdown network.
Any ideas?

it happen to me when there is in rc.conf, for example, eth0 in the interface array and it's description line is commented (#eth0=192.168.....)
and sometimes when network is running i modify the rc.conf and restart shout the same as you

I got the same fail messages. I used a network profile file. Solved by disable (with a !) all interfaces and gateways in /etc/rc.conf.

Yes, disable the gateway.
