LOGFILE=$MAILDIR/procmail.log
:0 ic
|sudo beep -r 3 -l 25 -D 25 -n -f 1000 -l 25

$MAILDIR/.gmail/
I hear the beep and there is procmail.log file but whenever I send email from my gmail account to my account on the machine the mail just goes to my inbox.
Here is my /home/mezoko/.maildir structor
/home/mezoko/.maildir

.. .Drafts .Junk .SAT Question .Sent .gmail courierimapsubscribed cur procmail.log
/home/mezoko/.maildir/.gmail

Try adding .* to the From line thus (unless you are absolutely sure that there is only a single space before your mail address)
:0
* ^From:.*mezoko@gmail.com
$MAILDIR/.gmail/

That does wonders!!
So tried to set up a filter that move anything with [arch] in the subject to my Arch mail folder, but all mail goes to the [arch] folder.
:0
* Subject:.*[arch].*
$MAILDIR/.Arch/
I even tried removing the .* after [arch]
EDIT:
Found another example and got it working with
:0
* ^Subject:.*[arch]
$MAILDIR/.Arch/

Ok I lied
:0
* ^Subject:.*[arch]
$MAILDIR/.Arch/
Some Mail goes to the arch folder while other goes to the INBOX, this is mail without [arch] in the subject

Maybe I misunderstand, but this is normal behaviour, if there isn't [arch] in the subject line than this rule won't match and the mail will go to the inbox folder.

I must have nto made myself clear, there was mail that did not contain [arch] on the subject line that still get filtered info the folder
