Then there will be some messages telling me that it couldn't start ./mpiexec. Now, when I stop the daemon and create a symlink from /opt/fah-smp/mpiexec to /opt/fah-smp/guest/mpiexec and start f@h using above command it will start calculating.

Looks like the script in rc.d should take care of that symlink. I posted a comment on the AUR page, maybe the maintainer will notice and update the script smile

I'll get around to it sometime this week hopefully.

I also noticed that the graph of the Arch Linux team's Daily Production History has a nice upward turn to it.

Way to go Archers.

I just installed the updated version from AUR. I don't know if it's intentional, but the rc.d script doesn't have the -smp flag when starting with the $FAH_USER  variable, which I had to put in myself.

Just so you know smile

whoops, I'll fix that sometime.

I usually run it as root myself, so I had ignored that part when updating it for v6...

I think you need to complete one work unit before your stats are registered.

Interesting... I'm ranked #5 on "Top 20 Producers". Didn't think several low-end machines I put into use can produce that kind of results! Oh well, glad to help out! smile

Re: F@H Arch Linux Team - Recruitment & Stats thread - HELP US !.

We still need more people to help crunch for team Arch Linux ! We are currently at #242

We've made it into the top 250 out of over 96,000 other teams and we are STILL climbing !!!

Add your machine to the herd ............... wink

The team as a whole has went from producing 200,000 points a month to well over 800,000 points per month.  Lets break a million points in Jan 2008 and keep it up all year .... a million+ per month smile
