After the latest xorg update I keep on getting these errors when starting up programs - here's an example of xchm:
The program 'xchm' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
(Details: serial 210 error_code 11 request_code 147 minor_code 5)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

There have already been reports of BadAlloc errors. Perhaps they apply to you too.

Those errors have been reported for Ubuntu and OpenSuse in combination with aMule, too. For Ubuntu, a recent Update of the xserver-xorg-core package solved the problem. I haven't done any research, but this is probably caused by a combination of wxGTK and a certain xserver version.

I should have checked flyspray at first. Thanks for letting me know that this is already getting attention.
