hi! i download my entire hotmail account in a mbox file with GetLive, but now really i dont know what to do with it, i mean, i want to open it and be capable of browse my mails to search for some specific mails, i dont know how and with what programs i can do this, because i try to open it in thunderbird but seems that it cant open it...
can i convert that mbox file in a maildir structure? i read that maildir is best because you have a file for every mail instead of a big file with all of them...
Thanks!

Glad it's solved! For others landing here — Thunderbird can open MBOX files by placing them directly in your profile directory rather than importing. Alternatively, mb2md converts MBOX to Maildir cleanly on Linux. A dedicated MBOX viewer is the quickest option if you just need to browse emails without any setup.
