Privoxy upgrade

After todays privoxy update it's not being started during boot (error in log is that there isn't /etc/privoxy/standard file, but the file is there). The thing is even weirder because it starts when manually calling it (/etc/rc.d/privoxy start). Is this a bug?

Re: Privoxy upgrade

# /etc/rc.d/privoxy restart
:: Stopping Privoxy                                                      [FAIL]
:: Starting Privoxy                                                      [FAIL]
# /etc/rc.d/privoxy start
:: Starting Privoxy                                                      [FAIL]

I'm having the same issue after the Privoxy version 3.0.8 update.  I can't seem to get Privoxy to start at all...

Re: Privoxy upgrade

See bug, for starters.

In /etc/rc.d/privoxy, remove "2>/dev/null" to *show* the error message.

Re: Privoxy upgrade

I see a new PKGBUILD has been posted on the bug report page.  Will this make it back into the extra repository, or must I now build this from the PKGBUILD manually?

Re: Privoxy upgrade

It's in the official repository now, as 3.0.8-2

Re: Privoxy upgrade

I have 3.0.8-2 and still experiencing the same issue.  On my i686 machine, no problems.  On Arch64, same issue.  Did someone forget to implement this for 64 bit?

Re: Privoxy upgrade

privoxy works fine for me.
Did you take a look at /etc/privoxy/config.pacnew and adjust your config file accordingly?
