I have been getting some unusual X crashes recently. While using my computer X will simply shutdown, bringing me back to the command line. I'm not sure what is triggering this. Here is the error message:

Maybe hardware. That's been my experience when things start crashing randomly.

I have been getting some unusual X crashes recently. While using my computer X will simply shutdown, bringing me back to the command line. I'm not sure what is triggering this.
I know it *is* often hardware, but oddly enough I have had two such random crashes this morning. I am using the current X server and upgraded the nvidia driver yesterday. I have not preserved the whole output, but the X-Org log says :

I also use the nvidia driver, and continue to experience crashes
