Hi. I've been trying to get my wireless working so I can use my laptop on campus too.
But the problem is none of the method described on wiki works. I tried netcfg2, gui based, and rc.conf.
I am using ASUS WL-167g USB wireless adapter which uses rt2500usb module I believe.
The problem I am having is that it recognizes my adapter and I can search networks with iwlist wlan0 scan. I can even connect to station by typing iwconfig wlan0 essid myessidgoeshere key s:mykeygoeshere. It doesn't report any errors. but then when i tried dhcpcd wlan0, it just hangs sometimes or it goes without problem sometimes. but even if dhcpcd goes without error, i can't still ping nor connect to internet. I dual boot to window and test the station and the station works just fine, I can even connect to internet as well. Help me plz.
