Can't access website from Archlinux (distro specific)

Can anyone access http://www.tee.gr ?

I can access it:

1) From Windows
2) From Ubuntu
3) From Gentoo

I CAN'T access it:

1)From Archlinux

I used wireshark and I saw that I was getting a "BAD TCP" response or something.

* If I use proxy then everythink is ok, but thats normal since my computer doesn't negotiate with the site, the proxy does.

Can anyone point me to the problem? Its the only site I can't access (as fas as I know).

Re: Can't access website from Archlinux (distro specific)

try...
Close your browser (all of them).

echo "0" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_window_scaling

Then try to view the site again.

If it works, a router between you and the site need to upgrade their version of IOS.
After determining if that is the issue, Reset to default..

echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_window_scaling

I also had to set "network.dns.disableIPv6" to true in about:config in firefox.

Re: Can't access website from Archlinux (distro specific)

This fixed it for me. Reading about tcp window scaling I wonder why this is deactived in windows and the other distributions. (Except for this bug.)

Re: Can't access website from Archlinux (distro specific)

Well thanks alot, that worked perfectly. It must be my router's problem, because when I use my ISP's proxy this doesn't happen.

Again, thanks alot for your help :-)

i doubt it is your router
It is probably a router on their (the website's) end.

Your isp's proxy likely just has tcp window scaling either:
a) disabled
b) their scale factor set low.. so the impedence mismatch isn't as great.
