random freeze

Hi,
I have Asus A6M Q0050 and last three weeks I experience random freezes.

Reading your vga card, I did a brief search in finding the vendor and device id (10de:0247). No useful hits. In this forum there is one using same card. If you don't get solved in this forum, contact Exclamation. His email is active.

Hi. I have the same notebook and the same problem. deepnote, did you try to boot with acpi=off option? I think problem is in acpi. Mail me please if you find the solution.

This was long time ago. smile I think I had 64bit Arch, now i have 32bit. But with new kernel new freezes appeared. See my new thread http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=375283

I downgraded 2.6.24 and it is ok.
