The first question that probably doesn't have it's place here:
How do I get my computer to beep? I tried downloading the beep package but nothing happens when i `beep`,
I have modprobed pcspkr and cheked for bios settings, is there anything else I can check/fix?
The second question (and most important) that I think fits here the best.
How can I start sshd (and other daemons) when I get the "harddrive disk check fail, enter root password or press control+d" error at boot. (This is also what I want the beep for, I want to beep when this happens.
