Trouble mounting a CD

Hi, I'm having trouble mounting a cd. This is what I get when I try:'

[root@linux coda]# mount /dev/sr0 /mnt/cdrom
mount: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0,
       missing codepage or other error
       In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail  or so

Any suggestions?

On the top of my head I see to possibilitys:
- Is this a music cd? If this is the case, it can't be mounted.
- The disc is somehow corrupted... <- yea, a bit fussy...

(I hope for the first, that is no error is present )
