Not sure on which wireless driver to use

I bought the wireless USB adapter LKW-G750 from the company LinksKey.  The customers on newegg said that it works perfectly with Ubuntu 7.0 or something but there are only Windows drivers.

I took a look at the wireless wiki and was not sure on which drivers to try out.  I tried to pop the cd in and install it with wine but it said there was an error and it couldn't mount the cd.

Re: Not sure on which wireless driver to use

You can't install windows drivers in linux directly like that (with WINE), drivers are an OS specific thing.  What you would have to do is use ndiswrapper, which "wraps" around the windows driver, allowing you to load the ndiswrapper/windows driver into the kernel as a driver.  This may help http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wireless_Setup.

Where can I find linux drivers for LKW-G750? What is the chipset?

There is no Linux driver officially, not from the chipset manufacturer too. The chipset for LKW-G750 Rev.A is SIS SIS163U and Rev.B is ZyDAS ZD1211B-QF.

You may be able to use NDIS Warpper to make use of the windows driver to work under Linux.
