How do I reinstall the vboxdrv modules after updating to 2.6.25? The command vbox tells me to use is /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup which won't work on arch.

Just reinstall the Vbox package, its what I do anyway, it doesnt affect your config in anyway.

Module "vboxdrv" was not loaded. To start Virtualbox you need to load the
kernel-module with modprobe vboxdrv or add "vboxdrv" to your MODULES array
in "/etc/rc.conf"
[root@duncan-arch Box]# modprobe vboxdrv
FATAL: Module vboxdrv not found.

Sorry I should have elaborated, I use the 1.6 binary package directly from the Sun website, it compiles the vboxdrv at install time, the Arch package will probably still contain the 2.6.24 kernel module.

Using 64 bit. Is there a 64 bit binary? I haven't seen one last time I looked.

# vbox_build_module
Works for me.
I'm using the closed source version.
Don't know if it's included in the open source version.

That's what I used too. I knew there would be a command that would do it, but the reinstall gave me a newer version.

To comply with U.S. export regulations, VirtualBox downloads have temporarily been moved to the Sun Download Center. We are currently working on a more permanent solution that will simplify downloads for various distributions and re-enable old versions as well.

I downloaded 1.5.6 from SUN recently, it seems to be gone though.
