centerim. make it not log chats and dont display nicknames

Hi! im using centerim, http://www.centerim.org/index.php/Main_Page and im searching for a way to make it not log conversations, and to make it not show the nicknames of the contacts, only their mail address, i try to rename my contacts, but some of them have their nicks again when exit/start the program again

I would like to know also, if you find out. unfortunately, there is no documentation on centerim.
and it seems that centericq (from which centerim forked) have their server down (the documentation one at least).

P.S.: It's nice to see a latinA use linux, I finally got my fiance to get used to linux. ;P

leo2501, i asked in the irq channel (#centerim), and one of the guys there (his nick is transacid) told me that history of chat is included in the logs, and that to get rid of logs you just need to delete them, maybe use cron.

the only kind of documentation i found is http://www.centerim.org/index.php/Frequ … project.3F

tiger on #centerim (the dev) said that centerim-5 will support disabling chat histories and file transfers and other things, so i am looking forward to centerim-5
