I have a D-link DWL-G520 802.11g PCI card that I'd like to get working with Arch.
I was wondering what the best solution would be. Does Arch have an Atheros package available (like SUSE does)? If not I would probably have to use the MadWIFI drivers. Would it be a better idea to build madwifi as a module, or directly link it into the kernel?

I also have another question... Are the Wireless Extensions install in Arch 0.7 by default?

Looks like MADwifi drivers are required:

I do not think any kernel "fiddling" will be required, just build and load the wireless module(s) you need for your card.
