I installed Arch a few days ago. I was able to use hp-toolbox as my normal user id. Now I am not. It says no Hp devices found. I can use hp-toolbox as root, no problem.

I have no idea whart happened. I think the only I did was setup my camera.

I see what I did.
I did "Configuring locales".
I added
en_US.UTF8 UTF-8
en_US ISO-8859-1
to /etc/locale.gen and did
locale-gen
and then I cannot access hplip as normal user. wow
I took it out and no problem.
Why is this?

Can you post o/p of:
ls -lh /dev/bus/usb/002/
I have no idea exactly, but I see the USB I/O Setup that you posted is using "getfacl" - AFAIK, ACL's are different to POSIX Permissions (I stand to be corrected?)
