Noone is gonna eat you... I see that you are new to the forums tho and wonder if you really know how important it is to have a user created... infact some things wont even work out of the box as root (try making a package from AUR)
Just curious, what do you think makes using the root account more appropriate for you... Because i cant find a single reason for it, not even lazyness...

I got Arch running in a VirtualBox with Windows XP. This is all on a 1.6Ghz system with 768 DDR RAM. I'm suprised on how stright forward everything is, every issue I had was due to something with VirtualBox like installing Guest Additions (I forgot to type mount /media/cdrom at some point and spent hours figuring it out). Then I had no sound, guess what VirtualBox sets sound off by default with the null setting, I spent at least 3 hours trying to break Arch figuring this out, it had nothing to do with arch. Anyways this was just a test run, I will be putting it on my system soon enough along with Ubuntu & Windows.
Also I can run perfect video playback with nearly no slowdowns in VirtualBox, I didn't think it was possible.
Running default, openbox & lxpanel with conky.

Still trying to figure out why the weather doesn't show the degree C. If you want those scripts, just ask. You'll need a few fonts obviously. Gnome-look has a "new vision conky fixed" which includes them all and the scripts.

The download link has a higher res.
And while I'm at it, does anybody know how I could encrypt the gmail.py so it can't be read by a person?
