I've had this problem in a few different programs - Opera, Firefox, and xfe. In the browsers, it happens in the middle of a video, or when navigating between pages. It also happened once in xfe, I believe I was simply navigating between directories at the time.
The program closes with no error message. There is no process running for the program after it closes. It's basically as if I had purposefully closed the program, only without me doing anything.
I'm not sure what to do about this. I was hoping someone could lend me some sound advice.
Here's some questionably relevant info:
Running X, Fluxbox, Pidgin, Conky, and Skype all the time.
Using 32-bit only.
Using the proprietary Flash 10 beta plugin on Opera and Firefox.
Thanks in advance.

You run the same stuff as me - except I run Fluxbox on Debian and Openbox on Arch.
Anyway...you may wanna check the /var/log files to see what went wrong. It might have some relevant info and the errors.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

Nothing helpful in errors.log, I found some segfault message in everytihng.log for Opera though. Seems it and the operapluginwrapper caused a segfault. Not sure if this would cause it to exit like it did. If so, it might be the Flash 10 beta plugin at fault, since both Firefox and Opera are usually on pages with flash when they die. I guess xfe might have just crashed due to mis-clicking or something. Will try and recreate the problem and check the logs again, I guess. Will report back here at that time.
