[SOLVED]GMPC - start connected to mpd

How do I start gmpc so that it connects to mpd?

I noticed that sonata starts connected automatically. Is there any way to do this with gmpc? I liked gmpc over Sonata because of the search feature and the built-in keybindings that it offers.

Never mind. I found it under Music>>Preferences>>Connection.

Shows I should look more closely before posting.
