squirrelmail

i recently did a pacman -Syu
and now my squirrelmail doesn't work
it keeps saying that the username is not known or the password is incorrect
since i know the password for that username is not incorrect, could it be that pacman changed where it was looking for the usernames? squirrelmail was working beautifully before, now it's broke  :?  any ideas? (please don't say "sounds like a chmod or chown error" cause i'm pretty sure i've gone that route  smile

Re: squirrelmail

your old config file was probably overwritten.
did you put it as do not overwrite in the pacman.conf?
if not, they it probably got nuked.

Re: squirrelmail

I just did an upgrade and my squirrelmail works with no problems.

Re: squirrelmail

my old config file was saved and pacman replaced it with a new one
i traded the two back after i noticed a problem
still no good
think it might have affected the postfix as well?

did you do a diff on the two first? Something might have actually changed in the config file format/new fields for the new version of squirrelmail..
I am reaching a bit here, but who knows...
And yes, you should check to make sure that your mail works normally before assuming it is something wrong with the squirrel..
