You don't upgrade single packages with Arch, you upgrade the whole system: pacman -Syu

i try to do this.. but there is a problem.. when a try do the upgrade with pacman -Syu appears an error message:
:: Replace kdestyle-polyester with kdemod-legacy/kdemod3-kdestyle-polyester? [Y/n]
Offline
That's not an error message, only a question. Okay... a rhetoric question: you have to answer "Y".

ok... the probl is this
resolving dependencies...
warning: dependency cycle detected:
warning: glibc will be installed before its bash dependency
looking for inter-conflicts...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: linux-uvc-svn: requires kernel26<2.6.26

Well, you could temporarily remove that package or add it to the Ignore= array in pacman.conf. It's dependencies are not set correctly by the maintainer.

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...

More like: It hasn't been rebuilt for 2.6.26 yet.

I knew there was more to this: uvc support has been integrated into kernel 2.6.26, so I think you could simply uninstall linux-uvc-svn.
