Wireless Package?

Hi, I am trying to connect to my University's wireless network but the only information they give is:

- WPA encrypted, using my student login ID and password for authentiation
- EAP-TTLS PAP is the authentiation method
- TKIP as the encryption method

I checked out netcfg but it doesn't seem to support the authentication method or the encryption method.
Any tips?

Re: Wireless Package?

Hello,

wpa_supplicant supports EAP-TTLS/PAP (at least, the man page says it does).  You should be able to use netcfg along with wpa_supplicant to get a connection.  The tricky part will be creating the wpa_supplicant.conf file.  If you check the man page for wpa_supplicant.conf, there is an example usage of EAP-TTLS which should be a good starting point.
