Counter-Strike Source white objects bug? :(

Long-time lurker, first-time poster here smile... first of all - I LOVE Arch! ^_^.

But it makes my CS:S sad. These are my launcher settings:

-game cstrike -nojoy -dxlevel 80 -w 1152 -h 864 -windowed

And my userconfig:

However, I keep getting results like these:

I've already tried:

* Enabling/Disabling GLSL
* dxlevel 90, 81, 80 and 70
* Enabling/Disabling pixel shaders under WINE

My config specs are as follows:

* P4 3.2Ghz
* GeForce4 Ti 4200 AGP8X 128Mb
* 1,5Gb RAM
* nvidia-96xx drivers
* WINE 1.1.5 from pacman, not AUR.

Any help? big_smile

When you used dxlevel 90 did those green/purple colors on the wall go away too?

Nope, but I got smoother shading with -dxlevel 95 and some config lines:

Still, the same overbright error happens. It also happens with the windows on the walls, props, barrels, and so on.

I see you are using compiz. What happens if you use a non composite WM?

Same. I know compiz causes problems with WINE games, or any native game for that matter tongue
