I'm having a lot of difficulties with my apartment's WPA2 network - my connection tops out at 1 MB/sec which is incredibly slow compared to what I should be getting. Connecting from a Windows machine I get at least 11 MB. I can connect to other networks - WEP and unsecured, at least - at top speeds. Any ideas for fixing this up?
0c:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN (rev 01)
Network card is a BCM4311 using the b43 driver. I use WICD to connect but I've tried with other methods - netcfg, networkmanager, iwconfig, etc and all top out at the same speed. I use the wext WPA supplicant driver. All thoughts and references are appreciated.
