Bad reception/disconnects with Netgear WG111v2 wireless since 2.6.27

I'm having connection problems since upgrading to the 2.6.27 kernel. I use a Netgear wg111v2

to connect. Before the kernel upgrade I had a stable connection with networkmanager showing 3-4 bars. Now I get a constant 1 bar and frequent disconnections ...
