Hi, yesterday I upgraded gnome to 2.24 and gnome-do was unable to launch any app, it seems it didn't find them, so today I have removed ~/.local/share/gnome-do and ~/.config/gnome-do and unsinstaled gnome-do. After that I ave just done a clean installation for gnome-do and now I can't get it started... this is what it reports:
** (/usr/lib/gnome-do/Do.exe:6337): WARNING **: The following assembly referenced from /usr/lib/gnome-do/Do.exe could not be loaded:
Assembly: gconf-sharp (assemblyref_index=12)
Version: 2.20.0.0
Public Key: 35e10195dab3c99f
The assembly was not found in the Global Assembly Cache, a path listed in the MONO_PATH environment variable, or in the location of the executing assembly (/usr/lib/gnome-do).
** (/usr/lib/gnome-do/Do.exe:6337): WARNING **: Could not load file or assembly 'gconf-sharp, Version=2.20.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=35e10195dab3c99f' or one of its dependencies.
Unhandled Exception: System.TypeLoadException: A type load exception has occurred.
Anyone has a clue? I have the sistem (x86_64) fully upgraded right now... Thanks!

I had the exact same problem. You just need to rebuild gnome-do from ABS.

Gnome-do works after abs recompiling, but I can't install Files and Folders plugin on arch i686.
I have recompiled mono-addins with abs, then removed ~/.local/share/gnome-do/ folder but the problem still remains.
If I run gnome-do --debug on terminal this is the error message

The following add-ins will be installed:

Any suggestions?

I just removed ~/.local/share/gnome-do and ~/.config/gnome-do before rebuilding on abs and that plugin works for me, the only plugin that doesn't work for me is the session management, it gives me a dbus related error...

The session management plugin has been broke for me for a few months now. There was some post on the gnome-do forums about it being fixed shortly but it never seems to have happened.

I'm getting the same error with the "Files and Folders" plugin. I've tried removing ~/.local/share/gnome-do and ~/.config/gnome-do before rebuilding gnome-do with abs, but I still get the error. Is there something else I have to rebuild?

I had it working until last week, when I upgraded to gnome 2.24...

Ops, now that I look at it, I can't get that plugin working either.... Hope they fix it on the next release

Do you get Could not find PowerManagement on D-Bus. error on command line when trying to restart/shutdown? Oddly enough, suspend and hibernate still work!
