MySQli

I noticed the php package for arch doesn't have MySQLi support. Is there an easy way to get this or do I have to manually compile it in?

Re: MySQli

I tried compiling...I really have no idea what to do though. The binaries install to different locations...

Can anyone just quickly walk me through this or point me to the right wiki docs or something?

What makes you think like that?

Re: MySQli

hmph....weird.

I'm getting this error when trying to visit a punbb forum: This PHP environment doesn't have Improved MySQL (mysqli) support built in. Improved MySQL support is required if you want to use a MySQL 4.1 (or later) database to run this forum. Consult the PHP documentation for further assistance.
