Archlinux: equivalent of /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf

Hi, i'm trying to use my wireless PCI card as an AP to share my Desktop connection with notebook..i'm following an how to written for slackware and i'm asked to write the file in object as follows:

IFNAME[4]="ath0"
IPADDR[4]="192.168.100.1"
NETMASK[4]="255.255.255.0"
WLAN_ESSID[4]=MY_SSID
WLAN_RATE[4]="54M"
WLAN_CHANNEL[4]="11"
WLAN_WPA[4]="wpa_supplicant"
WLAN_WPADRIVER[4]="madwifi"

So it seems a kind of network profile very simliar in syntax to what we normally write in /etc/rc.conf...
The problem is that it is similar but not exactly the same so i'm asking a more expert Arch user where should i put this configuration/profile in order to configure my AP.

Thanks a lot

I can go further if anyone has an answer...

How can I setup an Access Point for a private network with WPA-PSK encryption in Arch?
I'm quite stuck there...
Thanks

I'm not sure if I fully understand what you are aiming at but netcfg's network profiles might be what your looking for
