usb modem not quite detected right and disconnecting
'allo!
i am at my girlfriends house and they have a usb cable modem. with a quick bit of research i have it working fine. i had to add usbnet to my modules array in rc.conf BUT i have to do some random plugging and unplugging to and starting of the network daemon to get it detected and running - it is not detected and bought up by the daemons at startup - any suggestions? it is not shown by hwd either
