Hello and greetings from Finland.
I've stuggled with this problem for about two months already so finally I decided to consult the forums.
The problem is that dhcpcd cannot reach the dhcp server to get an address. I'm using Asus eeepc900. Everything in rc.conf is in order, I've checked it dozens of times and installation went fine (must have been about tenth time). I have read through the beginners quide and the eeepc installation quide, also I have googled the forum and internet with every possible keyword relating to my problem and tried all possible solutions I've found. Despite all that the problem persists. What I'd like to try next is to change to some othe dhcp client but being the newbie I am, advices (or ideas) are needed.
Sorry if my output is messy, it's allmost 3.30 AM here and I should've been sleeping a long time ago.

I managed to solve the problem just now. The solution was to get the latest version of dhcpcd.
