[SOLVED]snmpd, connection refused

Hi,


why is snmpd not accepting connections?

snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost system
Timeout: No Response from localhost
/var/log/snmpd.log
NET-SNMP version 5.4.2.1

/etc/hosts.allow was misconfiguted, tcp wrappers refused the connection.
