Using my PC as a "Router"

I currently have wifi and my main desktop PC is nowhere near the router.  My PC gets on wirelessly and it shares internet connection with the other devices near it via crossover cable (one end plugged into a PC and the other plugged into a switch, which the other devices get internet from.  On the windows side I just shared the wireless connection and that was good enough to get it working.  I have yet to get a similar setup working in arch.  I was looking at this link:

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Internet_Share

Will that work if it's PC to switch as opposed to PC to PC?  I'm currently notn near the machines in question so I thought I'd get some opinions before I go home and try it.

Well switches dont really do much so yeah it will work, its pretty much what windows does. That guide is pretty basic, is your PC directly connected to the internet or to a router?

My pc gets it's internet from the router, it connects to the router via wireles card

Wel I got it to work by following that link...  However I'm getting a weird message on my xbox.  It's saying my NAT type is "moderate" and needs to be "open"  How do I fix that
