I'm using my Aspire One (ath5k driver) to connect to an unsecured wireless network. It makes the connection fine, and I can ping servers as usual. Accessing them via other applications is another story. Links (and -g) work fine, however wget, Firefox, Midori and rTorrent won't connect to almost any server. I can ping these servers, and access them with Links.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated, as Links just doesn't cut it for a primary browser.
Edit: There is a G5 PPC iMac connected to the same network, which works without issues.
EditII: It seems that the URLs are being resolved to 1.0.0.0. I realised this when trying to connect to an IRC server, I'll try to reconfigure the profile to use OpenDNS.
EditIII: Solved, the problem was regarding this issue. I should have realised earlier, I encountered it with another router a couple months ago.
