Re: RTL8187B Support

Native module works but not very well. I am using ndiswrapper (only 32 bits) and works fine with wpa encryption.

Re: RTL8187B Support

I'm using the native driver on x86_64 but like agapito said, it does'nt work very well.
Ndiswrapper does'nt support vista drivers and I have'nt found any 64drivers to xp that works.

Re: RTL8187B Support

For me the connection used to drop frequently, even though the problem have gotten better with 2.6.28. But I do still have very slow upload speeds and the connection drops often while using torrents.

but for normal uses(laptop) it's ok?
I will down/up torrents from home(ethernet) and wait for a better 64bit driver in the future...

Re: RTL8187B Support

Yes, for normal use it works, and the support will get better in time.  I think the best way to find out is for you to test it, since the problems somewhat differ among various people.
