eee pc 900 custom kernel wireless problem

Hi all, i installed arch to my eee pc from the following link http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … sus_EEE_PC ... Now almost everything is working except my wifi. As i understood from the guidance, the custom kernel had to include necessary patch for madwifi drivers of my wifi network card but i can't get it working. The wlan0 interface doesn't show up unless i enable ath5k from rc.conf file. But then it doesn't work. So nothing changes.

I red something from this forum and installed madwifi-newhal-svn with yaourt and nothing changed. I am kind of stuck here. I need a hand of an expert please.

Re: eee pc 900 custom kernel wireless problem

if i enable eth5k module that is the output. So i think wlan0 is the interface for my atheros card. Also i tried ath0 and that doesn't work.

bash-3.2# iwconfig
