[SOLVED] (New to KDE) Problems with WiFi connection

Im switching to KDE from Gnome, just to try it...
I came across this problem:
My notebook has an intel 3945  wireless card, so i installed wicd to manage the network connections (if there is a better one for this subject, feel free to share it with me) - The point is that i edited my modules array in /etc/rc.conf like this:

MODULES=(iwl3945)

and i commented all the network interfaces, as the wiki says to do.

The daemons string looks like this:

DAEMONS=(syslog-ng hal network netfs crond wicd alsa fam kdm)

I can see the wifi spot i want to connect to (WPA enabled), so i set the password and click the connect button.
The program tryes to connect to the wifi router, but i never get to connect completely: on the bottom of wi-cd, i can red the message: "Validating authentication", and the connection seems to restart every 15 seconds more or less......

Can anyone help me?

Re: [SOLVED] (New to KDE) Problems with WiFi connection

I reformatted the whole system and configured all more carefully....
I dod not load the module of the wireless card, it just got loaded automatically....
Dont really know exactly why now works: It just works and im happy...

I will start trying my new fresh ext4 + kde 4.2 installation.

Thanks anyway!!!
