[SOLVED] root partition mounted ro just after installing

I've just installed 2008.6 at Aspire One. But after reboot i can't do anything - root is ro. What goes wrong? T_T

cat /etc/fstab

say?

what will

mount -n -o remount,rw /

do?

fstab looks normal. I've try to boot with 'default' mount options, but it wasn't help.

mount -l say nothing.
remount say than "/ not mounted already, or bad option"

I think that root hasn't remounted to rw after init, but why???

When you say you cannot do anything and root is ro (read only) what do you exactly mean?

root is supposed to be read only to the user, users do not have write access to the root partition.

For root user / must be ro too???
I mean that i'm loggin in as root, but / is ro.

doesn't that basically mean /'s not mounted at all? beyond the scope of my abilities...
