Hey Forum.
I've got a ASUS EEE B202 which I use for frontend for my MythTV setup. I discovered some difference that I really would like someone to tell me the difference between the setups.

I got 2 machines hooked up to a TV in a different root:
The box are cloned so they are exactly the same.
The livingroom:
Uses the DVI to HDMI input to TV --> Works perfectly allthough one a week it goes into blanc screen.
This is OK and I can live with it.
The bedroom:
Uses DVI out from the Box to DVI input on the TV - this goes blanc after playing for about 10-15min MAX - and the only way to get a picture is reboot.
I can log in through SSH
I can change between the diffeerent consoles - but no picture. I can see it looses the picture for a secund, but then keeps beeing blanc.
Last nigth I change the cable to this:
DVI out - DVI/VGA connector - VGA cable tp VGA input on the TV. = no more blanc screens.
So my question is .- what is the difference between uses the DVI inout and the VGA input on the TV - and how come this does the effect abourt going into blanc screen mode.
